Lots of things make me laugh, but when I saw the topic for this week's corner view, nothing came to mind.  (Well, nothing other than a few VERY dirty jokes that did not seem appropriate.)  Then Sunday came and I saw the movie, Moonrise Kingdom.  It's a quirky, little movie that had me laughing so hard that I was crying.

Here's the trailer:

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.  It has a lot of "American" humor... although a lot people don't think Americans have a sense of humor :-)

Happy corner-viewing!

My favorite table is one with a friend or friends and good food.  This is table from yesterday's lunch with my good friend, Roxanne.

Corner-to-Corner

Look what recently arrived at my house from Beth's house:

I was so excited to see the Corner-to-Corner package, but not nearly as excited as I was when I opened it and found this gorgeous fuschia stole, which has "Heather" written all over it:

Also enclosed was a bar of handmade blackberry scented soap that smells good enough to eat:

There was also a lovely Amish star ornament, which is pefect as I have an Amish barn star in my living room and Amish-style star pulls in my kitchen.

Thank you so much Beth!
