Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane and currently curated by Francesca, where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme. If you'd like to join in, please leave a link to your Corner View post in the comments at www.fuoriborgo.com, and be sure to visit other participants, too.
This week's corner view topic was perfectly timed for me! My parents were vacationing in Jekyll Island, Georgia and Saturday Roxanne and I drove up and spent the day with them. Here's the bridge to Jekyll Island. (I would have taken more photos, but my camera battery died... oops.)
Happy cornerviewing!
uuuh I love islands!!! We forgive you for the camera... cus you're cute!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Love ya, man!
DeleteThis is a wonderful time of year to head to the coast. I've never been to Jekyll Island, but love our Outer Banks! Hope you had a wonderfully lazy time there.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Jekyll Island but now, yes! I just looked on G*ogle. Thank you for the discovery :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard that Jekyll Island is a wonderful place. I haven't been to the Atlantic Ocean for years. I would love to go some place like this island. I've learned the hard way to keep recharging my camera's battery. I also keep a spare camera that works with AA batteries in the car console. ;>)
ReplyDeleteI don't think we were meant to take photos that day. After my batteries died, Roxy tried to take photos with her phone... which promptly died. So, we fished my parents' camera out of the trunk... there were only 3 or 4 photos left on their memory card. Pretty pathetic all the way around :-) Or maybe it was the universe's way of telling us that we must go back to the island...
DeleteI have lived here in Atlanta for 10 years and still haven't been to Jekyll Island.
ReplyDeleteYou must go - it's gorgeous! Be sure to go to Driftwood Beach. I wish I had photos to share - breathtaking.
Deletenice to have a bridge that connected you to your parents!
ReplyDeleteI'm on my way to visit... Nice places :)
ReplyDeleteCall me when you get there and I'll come up and join you :-)
