Corner View - Motion

Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane and currently curated by Francesca, where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme. If you'd like to join in, please leave a link to your Corner View post in the comments at www.fuoriborgo.com, and be sure to visit other participants, too.

A body in motion stays in motion.  A body at rest gets flabby.  (Maybe that's not quite how Newton put it...)   Anyhow, my body has been at rest too long, so I am trying to put it back in motion.

So, I packed my cross-trainers and ipod and headed outside for a walk on my lunch break.  Aside from a number of other walkers and a few bike riders, the birds were out in droves.  I saw wood storks, anhinga, ibises, ducks, herons and seagulls, to name a few.   (And it was a balmy 72'F - perfect!)

Hopefully, this will become habit forming :-)
Happy corner-viewing!

  1. I liked how you overlapped the photo--a moving collage. Wonderful photos of a totally different landscape/weather setup than what you will see in my corner view for this week(Hint: think Polar Vortex).
Good luck on your "motion plans"! ;>)

  3. Looks like you had a birding adventure on your walk! We don't have several of those breeds here in my area, so thank you for sharing!

  4. Newton's Law I tell myself this winter already for very long. I have not yet won through me, and still have many, many good reasons. But I need a schedule. An exact date for starting. And that would be of 1:02:14. I hope I succeed. From there I will go jogging regularly again.

  10. So happy you were able to take a moment and enjoy outside. I need to start walking again. It is still a little too cold. Spring is just around the corner though.
