Senior picnic with our Freshman "little sisters" - Memphis 1986. (I'm second from the right.) It was a fun day filled with junk food, silly games and girl talk.
Off topic photo - but isn't it cute?? Chip with HIS little sisters, Pippa and Tara.
And another off topic... Chip sharing his breakfast with his little brother, Harry.
Happy Corner-Viewing!
The first picture made me laugh. I remember the hairstyles and outfits of the 80s...terrible! The other two pictures are awesome and very very cute :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, sadly, a lot of the fashions are coming back... let's hope the "big" hair does not become popular again!
Deletethat is a dog with two cats, is it not? sweet!
ReplyDeleteas are all of you! how quickly we grow vintage, don't you find?

Before I took that photo, I was looking for the kittens. I walked past them several times before I saw them cuddled up with Chip.
DeleteThe first one is great! Very good memories. And you was in Memphis and has visited Elvis ;)?
ReplyDeleteYour dog and the little kittys are so sweet.
I grew up in Memphis. When we had out-of-town company and Elvis was still alive, we always took them to Graceland to stand outside the gates to see Elvis. We never saw him though. Just hours upon hours standing outside the gates :-)
Deletei love all the photos - beautiful celebrations of friendship among people and animals alike.
ReplyDeleteWonderful memories!
ReplyDeleteI love the 80's!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely...you should meet again and make a similar photo...just, everyyear!
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous - it is amazing to see how 'vintage' photographs from the 1980s look now. And I remember them so well!! I love your dog and cat pics too
ReplyDeleteDelightful company in all of the photographs! (I like how the eighties photo is a bit worn. Can't do that, unless ageing on purpose, with modern digital shots.)
ReplyDeleteNicki
A nice memory and great offtopic pictures
