I don't have a window in my office.... however, when I got into the office Tuesday morning this was my view. (The flowers are from the attorneys I work for, not some hot guy... maybe next time :-) )
This is the conference where I spent most of Tuesday in meetings.
These are views from the conference room... not quite Florence like the book...
Happy Wednesday and happy corner viewing!
Dear Heather, your office is so lovely with flowers.. And you are lucky.. your attorneys are giving flowers to you.. But I..:(( Nobody.. Neither teachers and students, nor hot guys.. :))
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Beck. Our guys are still in Scotland GROWING the flowers that they are going to give to us. They are muscular handsome men with that gorgeous Scottish accent...
DeleteA very thoughtful employer to remember adm week or just because. Thank goodness there is a vew down the hall, right? xo
ReplyDeleteAdmin week - and they include all of the non-lawyers not just the admin assts. We got flowers Monday. (I was off Monday, so I got mine Tuesday.) They had Olive Garden delivered for lunch today and Friday they are having massage therapists in the office to give everyone a massage. (Sadly, I will miss the massages as I will be out of the office in a seminar.)
DeleteFlowers are always my favorite view!
ReplyDeleteNice to know where you work, Heather.
PS Otli asked about your theme in a comment, I promised that you'd leave a reply there (so everyone else can see it too!) - thanks!
Done! I cheated and told the story i'd already told you.
DeleteIt's very nice to discover where you are working!
ReplyDeleteYour view from the office window I like - if you look out, you see a lot of people.
ReplyDeleteAlways lovely to see fresh flowers in view, no matter who they are from!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh .... fresh flowers ! Almost as good as a window ! :)
ReplyDeleteFlowers make any room have a view---at least I think so. I love having a vase of flowers gracing a room. So good of the lawyers to remember to appreciate you!:>)
ReplyDeleteI am glad I stuck it out, too. Got my review today and was told that I was "fabulous." I can live with that :-) Of course, my ego is getting bigger...
DeleteNice flowers! My office windows look on the nearby buiding which is 5 meters apart.... so I see other windows and stairs.
ReplyDeleteMy windows in office are far away too...and that lamp in the meeting room is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNice place to work.
Congrats on the review (of course you are fabulous, we already knew that!) - and what a lovely gesture, those flowers.
ReplyDeleteWell, at 44, your ego is entitled to grow a little. You're supposedly now at that age that you can tell it to shut up when it gets carried away and keeps bragging ;-)
Nicki
Maybe flowers are like opened windows... Nice CV!!
ReplyDeletewow, cheers, how lovely to see all this.
ReplyDeleteso, this is the job you were hoping for all those months back, right?
if the flowers are anything to go by... good job!
n♥
Actually, it's the same job that I had at that time and was planning to leave. It's all worked out now and I am very happy here again :-)
DeleteEven without a window, you still have a nice office view. The flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeletei think for an office you have a marvelous view, you can look outside, see the sky and enjoy flowers on the desk!
